| TAO is going to debut as a solo artist in China |
Tao, who
has left Exo, announced to his fans through SNS that ‘It’s a dream come true’,
which has attracted netizens and fans worldwide to comment.
On 20
July, TAO uploaded a selfie through Weibo, captioned in Chinese, saying ‘I have
finally made my dream come true. To everyone who has helped me on the way, I am
sincerely grateful and feel blessed… at this moment, let us look forward to the
23rd, and pay attention!’
On 23 July,
TAO released his first solo mini album in China. TAO used his name T. A. O. as
the album’s name, and has officially started his activities in China as a solo
artist.
Early
this year in April, TAO announced his departure from Exo and headed back to his
hometown in China. He even started his own studio there. With regards to this,
his former employer SM Entertainment remarks ‘We’ve heard Tao has started his
own successful business in China and we are still in contact with Tao for
possible future business opportunities’.
