IU and Yoo In-Na are going a holiday trip together to Italy.
Well known among K-pop fans, the idol singer IU and actress Yoo In-Na, are 'best buds' since way back in the days when both of them starred in 'Heroes', a variety show hosted by famous female celebrities, including others such as T-ara's Ji-Yeon, Afterschool's Ka-Hi and Kara's Nicole.
On 1st August, it was reported that IU and Yoo In-Na embarked upon a trip together to Italy via Incheon airport. Reps from their management company announced to Korean media today saying that 'IU and Yoo In-Na traveled on their own without any supervision of our staff. Since they are on a private trip together, their spending on air tickets, accommodation and anything else are all managed by themselves'.
Fans and tourists, after knowing the two are in Italy, quickly found them hanging around in Rome and took pictures of them for the web. The uploaded pictures of them quickly spread through SNS and blogs.
Because of the trip, Yoo In-Na purposefully took a week off from her radio show 'Volume Up Radio'. Her co-coworkers reported that they too do not know when exactly In-Na will be back to Seoul and that Yoo In-Na left them a message saying that she will enjoy her trip and come back safely, so do not worry about her.
IU's management company confirmed on 2 August that IU and Yoo In-Na are indeed on a private trip together. They explained that IU's leave will not affect her scheduled appearance on Infinite Challenge or its music festival and that IU's leave was well-arranged ahead of time. Since IU is on a private trip, they will not disclose the date when IU will return to Seoul.
